sCAN is a converter that converts RS232 signals to CAN signals, and CAN signals to RS232 signals. With an internal command-processing processor, it can interpret serial data commands to change settings or transmit and receive CAN signals. CAN transmit/receive commands can also be modified, allowing the product to be used without changing the existing system. Commands can be sent through a COM port terminal, and CANView is provided for more convenient operation. CANView is an integrated utility that supports communication environment settings, testing, and even firmware upgrades.
sCAN provides ABOR (Automatic Bus-Off Recovery), which automatically recovers from CAN Bus-off events, ensuring excellent CAN communication reliability.
sCAN can receive only the desired CAN IDs at the hardware level. This is called Masking. In CAN communication, the received CAN ID and mask are generally combined to hardware-filter the specific CAN frames to be monitored among all CAN frames on the CAN network, helping control communication processing load. This function can be configured through a COM port terminal or CANView.
CANView, an integrated utility, is provided for sCAN configuration and testing. With this program, users can easily change sCAN communication settings in a GUI environment. It also supports both testing and monitoring functions, allowing users to monitor CAN bus data or transmit data to other devices.
CANView is a GUI-based utility that allows anyone to configure settings easily through intuitive menus. Users can use it to monitor and test CAN data transmitted and received through sCAN. It also provides a function to save monitored CAN data in TXT format, making it useful for data analysis.
This function automatically detects the serial communication environment of sCAN. It is especially useful when the user does not remember the current serial communication settings of sCAN.
