fewer components and you get cost-effective and reliable connections to your serial devices. The Multiport boards support most Windows operating systems and include 15,000 volt surge suppression eliminating blown ports. The Multi-8C/PCIe includes a fan-out cable with DB9 connectors and is available in two models, RS232 and RS422/RS485(Combo). These boards are ideal for POS, hospitality, factory automation and building automation applications.
The SB16C1058PCI controller has a built-in 256-byte transmit/receive FIFO and various serial communication functions, reducing the need for additional components and improving circuit reliability. It also provides built-in protection against ±15KV surge electrical signals, supporting a stable communication environment even in industrial sites.
