SB300 is a high-performance Multi-Protocol Transceiver in a compact QFN-40 package, supporting the RS232, RS422, and RS485 communication standards. In addition to providing full RS232 signaling (3 drivers, 5 receivers), SB300 supports RS422 (full-duplex/4-wire) and RS485 (half-duplex/2-wire) communication at speeds of up to 10Mbps, which are widely used across a range of field applications. It also features a Slew Rate Limit function that minimizes EMI in environments sensitive to electromagnetic interference. SB300 provides an automatic toggle function that is useful for RS422/RS485 communication, and its built-in internal termination resistor eliminates the inconvenience of connecting an external termination resistor. In addition, an Echo mode is supported, in which transmitted RS485 data is received back as sent, making it especially useful for testing.
