The Multi-1/USB all provides an Auto Toggling feature for RS422/RS485 communication. This function prevents output signal collisions in RS422 multi-drop configurations or RS485 networks. Since this feature is implemented at the hardware level, simply configuring the interface mode via the switch will automatically enable Auto Toggling to match the selected mode, maximizing user convenience.
For RS422/RS485 data communication, the Multi-1/USB all features a Slew Rate Limiting function that suppresses electromagnetic emissions during data transmission. When activated, this function suppresses high-frequency signals to reduce external impacts caused by electromagnetic radiation. This effectively prevents the malfunction of equipment in environments highly sensitive to EMI, such as hospitals and laboratories. However, please note that communication speeds may be limited depending on the specific communication environment.
