The HaLowRelay-1020TIH is a HaLow to Relay converter that enables remote power switching control of distant devices connected to its Relay ports via Wi-Fi HaLow, a mid-range wireless communication technology. Through various connection methods such as signal control and Modbus, it seamlessly integrates with diverse I/O equipment in a wireless network environment—making it ideal for parking control, factory equipment power management, kiosk power control, and more. It also allows users to easily control external devices using the Modbus Protocol .
Equipped with 2-port contact relay ports for DC/AC operation, the HaLowRelay-1020TIH delivers reliable signal transmission and circuit switching capabilities, empowering users to wirelessly control device power anytime, anywhere. Furthermore, it works seamlessly with SystemBase's line of HaLow products, allowing users to build an independent Wi-Fi HaLow local network for effortless multi-device power management.
Approved by the Wi-Fi Alliance in 2016, IEEE 802.11ah (Wi-Fi HaLow) is a WLAN technology operating in the sub-1 GHz spectrum. Conventional 2.4 GHz ISM bands—commonly used for standard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)—frequently suffer from heavy congestion and reduced stability due to overcrowding.
Wi-Fi HaLow overcomes these limitations by utilizing sub-1 GHz bands, transcending the traditional 100-meter range limit of conventional wireless technologies to deliver mid-to-long-range communication reaching 1 to 1.5 km. Coupled with its low power consumption, Wi-Fi HaLow serves as a next-generation IoT WLAN technology perfectly suited for battery-powered sensor networks and M2M (Machine-to-Machine) communication networks.
Users can easily control power devices situated at remote locations across the Wi-Fi HaLow network. Flexible network architectures can be established to fit specific user environments using versatile communication modes, such as 1:1 communication, TCP Server/Client, UDP, and Modbus. When combined with our HaLowGate, a single hub can manage a 1:N multi-point setup with multiple HaLowRelay devices.
The HaLowRelay-1020TIH allows seamless control over remote power equipment connected via the Wi-Fi HaLow network. Supporting diverse communication modes including 1:1 communication, TCP Server/Client, UDP, and Modbus, it enables tailored network configurations according to application needs. Paired with our HaLowGate, users can effortlessly expand to a 1:N network setup to control multiple HaLowRelay units simultaneously.
