LoRa is a wireless communication technology for sensor networks and a next-generation LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) communication technology that can transmit small amounts of data over long distances. SystemBase ioLory applies LoRa to provide a communication range of several kilometers, and offers Digital Input/Output, Analog Input, RTD, and other functions. It is a high-performance sensor node device that can be used for data acquisition, control, and monitoring of various measuring devices, sensors, and actuators used in industrial sites.
LoryNet is a virtual cable platform based on LoRa communication, a type of LPWA (Low Power Wide Area), that connects sensor nodes, converters, repeaters, and gateways to the Internet, allowing communication as easily as reading and writing to a hard disk. It simplifies complicated tasks such as configuration changes when connecting various digital and analog communication methods, including the Internet, and enhances interoperability between protocols. Users can easily configure complex communication systems through simple operations similar to reading and writing data on a PC hard disk. Through LoryNet, a physical virtual cable platform that connects LoRa with various communication methods, sensed data can be used for monitoring, analysis, control, and more from anywhere in the world.

With low standby power consumption and cost efficiency, LoRa is expected to be widely used in USN areas such as smart homes and smart cities. Unlike conventional mobile communication devices that require high-speed broadband networks, it can transmit and receive small-scale data without separate base stations or relay equipment.
SystemBase ioLory provides Digital Input/Output, Analog Input, and RTD as standard, and offers relay output ports for On/Off control widely used in control applications. It also supports RS232/RS485 serial communication ports, making it an ODMU (One-Device-Multi-Use) device that allows users to select and use functions suited to the requirements of various industrial sites.
