CS-428i V2.0 is an industrial-grade isolation converter that converts RS232 signals to RS422 or RS485 signals. It applies a 5kV digital isolator and provides standard ESD, EFT, and surge protection, along with a GDT (Gas Discharge Tube) that supports protection performance up to the kA range. It also applies PPTC (Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient), an overcurrent protection component similar to a fuse that can be reused once the overcurrent is removed, providing complete protection against external electrical shocks that may enter from the outside and damage expensive equipment. In addition, it is a top-grade high-performance converter that supports industrial temperature and humidity environments and provides highly flexible use of each device connected to the communication line through ID registration, setting, and release functions based on SystemBase’s 30 years of expertise.
CS-428i V2.0, an industrial serial converter, provides excellent protection against noise and surge generated in industrial sites. It meets KC and IEC 61000-4.2, 61000-4.3, and 61000-4.4 standards, and provides up to 15kV ESD Level 4 protection on the communication port. In addition, a ±5kV high-grade digital isolator is applied to prevent expensive equipment from being damaged by external electrical shocks. Developed with highly reliable components based on SystemBase’s proprietary technology, CS-428i V2.0 provides stable operation and excellent performance even under harsh and demanding industrial environments.
CMOS digital isolation is an isolation method that provides compact size, high isolation performance, and low power consumption, offering better performance and reliability than conventional optical opto-isolation. This function electrically isolates input and output signals, protecting the main unit from noise generated externally or strong electrical shocks caused by the operation of motors or actuators.
