sLAN/all PoE V2.0 is an ultra-compact Serial to Ethernet PoE converter that provides Ethernet communication and PoE (Power over Ethernet) functionality to devices supporting RS232, RS422, and RS485. It supports IEEE 802.3 10/100Base-TX and IEEE 802.3af PoE standards, and can be easily connected to various industrial devices through a DB9 serial interface. It supports serial communication speeds of up to 921.6Kbps and Ethernet communication speeds of up to 100Mbps, allowing existing serial devices to be expanded into a network environment.
Using sLAN/all PoE V2.0, remote RS232, RS422, and RS485 devices connected over a network can be easily communicated with, controlled, and monitored. COM Port Redirector allows users to create a virtual COM port, enabling an Ethernet network-based serial communication environment without modifying existing serial programs.
It supports IEEE 802.3af PoE, allowing data communication and power supply to be handled simultaneously through a single Ethernet cable. This enables a more efficient and convenient network configuration in industrial sites or remote installation environments where separate power wiring is difficult.
Designed with the characteristics of unstable industrial environments in mind, it provides protection against electrical shocks that may enter through Ethernet and serial ports. It has built-in ESD protection of up to ±8kV and uses highly reliable components to ensure stable communication performance even in industrial environments.
Various free utility programs are provided for use with sLAN/all PoE.
COM Port Redirector : Creates a virtual COM port on the network, allowing existing serial programs to be used without modification.
SGConfig : A Windows configuration utility that allows users to easily configure network and serial communication settings.
TestView™ : A utility for testing serial communication status and performance.
